COOLTOWER®: two projects, two configurations, one shared ambition. Less steel, less CO₂

COOLTOWER®: two projects, two configurations, one shared ambition. Less steel, less CO₂.
From Roscoff to La Palmyre, FIMO demonstrates how technical performance, landscape integration, and a reduced carbon footprint can come together in telecom infrastructure tailored to each site.
Two projects delivered:
- Roscoff: a 30-meter COOLTOWER® accommodating 1 operator.
- La Palmyre: a 44-meter COOLTOWER® accommodating 3 operators, with a color selected to blend into its wooded environment.
One shared advantage: an open structure that enables natural ventilation and heat dissipation from equipment, with the potential to reduce energy consuption. An optimized design that saves 1.4 metric tons of steel and 2.3 metric tons of CO₂e compared to a traditional monopole, according to a comparative analysis carried out.
COOLTOWER®: less material, optimized design, a solution tailored to the specific needs of each site.
