The Company FI.MO.TEC. S.p.A. firmly believes that transparency is the basis of its relationship with clients and users. Therefore, FI.MO.TEC. S.p.A. would like to be as clear as possible about the usage of personal data.

This document outlines how users’ personal data is managed by our website.

The information here is given in compliance with article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 for “the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data” (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR) of users of the FI.MO.TEC. S.p.A. website, or telematic system originating at www.fimoworld.com.

The information notice also complies with recommendation no. 2/2001 issued by the European Authorities for data protection working under the Group established by article no. 29 of directive no.95/46/CE adopted on May 17, 2001 to identify some minimum requirements for the collection of personal data online and in particular, the methods, timing and nature of the information the Company must provide to users about how their data is processed when they connect to the website, regardless of their reasons for use.


  1. Personal Data Controller and Coordinators

The data controller is FI.MO.TEC. S.p.A., registered office in Milano, Corso Venezia 36 and administrative and operational headquarters in Cologno Monzese (MI), Via Milano 121.

The Controller can name other data coordinators, internal or external (hereinafter referred to as “Controllers”) and also authorized personnel (“Authorized”). A complete and updated list of Controllers and Authorized personnel is available upon request by contacting privacy@fimoworld.com.

The handling of personal data connected with our web services happens within our Company offices in Cologno Monzese (MI), Via Milano 121, and it is carried out only by technical personnel specifically tasked to do so.

For various specific services, the data is handled by specialized companies, who are named Controllers and who operate in compliance with article 29 of the GDPR.

Browsing Data

The computing systems and software procedures used to operate this website gather some personal data and the transmission of which is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols during normal operations.

This information is not gathered to be associated with identified interested parties, but by its very nature could, being processed and associated with data held by third parties, enable the identification of users.

This category of data including IP addresses or domain names of the computers used for visiting the site, the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of data response from the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relative to the users’ operating systems and computing environment.

This data is used only for the purposes of gathering anonymous statistical information concerning the use of the website and to check the correct operations, and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to check accountability in the event of hypothetical cyber-crimes damaging the site.

Data provided by the User

The facultative, explicit and voluntary sending of emails to the addresses shown on this site automatically leads to the acquisition of the sender’s email address, required to be able to reply to the request, as well as the acquisition of any other personal data provided in the message. For some specific services, personal data is requested to be filled in.

  1. Legal purposes and basis for handling personal data

Notwithstanding that which is specified about browsing in part 2.1), the personal data provided by Users via the site are handled for the following purposes:

  1. To enable operations strictly linked to and essential for relationship management with the Users, for example - replying to questions received in the contact forms, for purposes of personnel selection from a CV (curriculum vitae) and other relevant information sent by the User;

  2. To enable the fulfilment of legal obligations, regulations and community legislation, or orders of authorities or control bodies;

  3. To be able to ascertain, exercise or defend a right in a court of law or whenever legal authorities perform their jurisdictional functions;

  4. To research/analyse statistics of the aggregated or anonymized data, without the possibility of identifying the User, in order to measure the operations of the Site and it’s relative operational functions, including the solution of any technical problem.

The legal basis of the processing of personal data detailed in point a) is the carrying out of a service or a reply to a request, both of which do not require the consent of the Users, in compliance with all applicable legislation.

Regarding purposes outlined in points b) and c), the processing is necessary in the legitimate operations and interests of the Company.

The purposes in point d) do not require the handling of person data.

  1. Links to other websites

The FI.MO.TEC S.p.A. site features links to other websites (YouTube, LinkedIn, Google). Third parties could gather information about you when you interact with their content and their services.

  1. Methods of processing and storage times

Personal data is handled by automated tools for as much time as is strictly necessary to engage in the scope it is gathered for. Specific safety measures are in place to prevent the loss of the data, illicit use or misuse of or unauthorized access to it.

  1. Rights of the data subjects

Data subjects are the Users who have the right to obtain information at any time on the existence of any recordings of their personal data and to know the content and origin of personal information, check its accuracy, or request its integration or updating or amendment (article 15 as. GDPR). Pursuant to the same article, the subject has the right to request cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or the blockage of data in the event of unlawful processing and also to oppose the processing for legitimate reasons.   1. Changes

The Company reserves the right to change, also in the case of variations to applicable legislation, the Privacy Policy by updating this page. The User is asked to periodically check the Privacy Policy noting any changes relative to updates.
